Batista had a successful college wrestling career. He was a two-time All-American, and he finished his career with a record of 113-14. Batista was also a member of the U.S. National Freestyle Team.
Professional Wrestling
Batista signed a developmental contract with the WWE in 2000. He was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW),where he spent two years honing his skills. Batista made his WWE debut in 2002, and he quickly became one of the most popular wrestlers in the company.
