Early Life and Education

Christine Brennan was born on May 4, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio. She grew up in a sports-loving family, and she played basketball, field hockey, and softball as a child. Brennan attended the University of Toledo, where she earned a degree in journalism. After college, she worked as a sportswriter for the Toledo Blade and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
